Our Great-Uncle Berryman Thomas “Buster” has lived his life supporting others.
After serving in World War II he returned home to study forestry and eventually
repurpose his father’s turpentine land in Sarasota. There, Buster developed
a cattle ranch, citrus groves, as well as sod and timber farms. Beyond expanding
upon his agricultural roots, he also helped pioneer sustainable farming in the state
of Florida and made efforts toward water conservation long before it was the hot
issue of today. Buster has served on numerous community boards, traveled all
48 contiguous United States in an RV with his wife, Jane, and tells the scariest
campfire stories you’ve ever heard. We named our first line of belts after Buster
with the hope that it will support you in all of your many endeavors.
