In today’s world, we expect women to be able to do it all. Be graceful and hardworking, patient and strong. Our great-grandmother Norma lived these principles nearly a century ago as an industrious mother and early Florida settler.
The quintessential lady who loved to throw tea parties, Norma was also quick witted and enterprising. When tragedy struck her husband’s businesses in North Carolina she started a candy company to keep the family afloat. Upon moving to Rio, Florida, she and her husband started Pat’s Place: a gas station and restaurant for the numerous travelers making their way into the yet untamed state.
Norma paved the way for the hardworking and persevering women we are today. Whether building your empire, or growing a family, we hope our Norma bag will help support you along the way.
